We are incredibly honored to announce that Alice Waters, legendary author and food activist, will provide the keynote address for the 5th Annual Philanthropy Awards Breakfast.

The pioneering Chez Panisse restaurateur, who will be receiving the National Humanities Medal from President Obama on Thursday, has always taken the community to heart. Alice’s work with the Edible Schoolyard Project at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Berkeley is just one example of her community-minded leadership.

With Alice Waters as keynote and another outstanding class of honorees waiting in the wings, this year’s Philanthropy Awards are set to be our best yet.
