Environmental / Manufacturing
The Environmental/Manufacturing Task Force addresses issues concerning the environment which affect the members of the East Bay Leadership Council, the business community, and residents of the East Bay.
The mission of the Environmental/Manufacturing Task Force of the East Bay Leadership Council is as follows:
- To identify and evaluate issues concerning the environment which affect the members of the East Bay Leadership Council, the business community of Contra Costa County, and the people who live here.
- To educate the members of the Environmental Task Force, the East Bay Leadership Council, and the business community with respect to environmental issues affecting them, their communities, and their businesses.
- To develop, research, establish, and present to appropriate governmental bodies and to the public the views of the members of the East Bay Leadership Council on environmental issues affecting the people and businesses of the East Bay.
- To provide a bridge between the members of the East Bay Leadership Council and the community to promote communication regarding environmental issues of interest and concern to each.
This task force usually meets on the 1st Friday of the month. Times and Locations may change to accommodate programs and availability of facilities. Please check with the EBLC Policy Director for confirmation.
